Christopher and Karmen met in 2022 while working together at Lululemon. From the start, they couldn't have been more different. Christopher could strike up a conversation with absolutely anyone and never missed an opportunity to be the center of attention. Karmen, on the other hand, preferred to keep to herself, focusing on finishing her master's degree and staying out of the spotlight.

At the time, Christopher had recently left professional baseball and was figuring out his next chapter, while Karmen was busy building her future. At first, Karmen wasn't convinced she and Christopher would have much in common. Christopher's larger-than-life personality, endless jokes, and ability to start a conversation with absolutely anyone seemed worlds away from Karmen's quieter nature. But somewhere along the way, his charm won her over. What started as a playful annoyance became something much more. Christopher was impossible to ignore.

The two quickly bonded over their shared love of music and developed a habit of sending each other Snapchats documenting every random detail of their daily lives. Somewhere between the songs, coffee runs, and endless conversations, they became best friends.

A year later, life brought them even closer. As they both pursued careers in law enforcement and attended separate police academies, their friendship grew into something more. It took Christopher asking Karmen to be his girlfriend four different times to finally get a "yes." Thankfully, the answer was well worth the wait.

After settling into their new careers and building a life together, Christopher decided it was time to ask another important question. In May 2024, he proposed, and this time Karmen said yes on the very first try.

Today, Christopher and Karmen enjoy building a life filled with the things they love most: whether that's cheering from the stands at baseball games, singing along at country music concerts, or trying out the latest restaurant as self-proclaimed foodies. No matter what adventure they find themselves on, their favorite moments are often the simplest ones spent at home with their beloved fur baby, Goose, a 90-pound bundle of love and fur who is convinced he's lap-dog sized.

What began as an unlikely friendship between two very different people has grown into a partnership built on laughter, loyalty, adventure, and love. They can't wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
